Achieve Work Life Balance
A Commitment to Excellence
MW&A is a boutique CPA firm comprised of talented professionals who work to live, rather than live to work. Don’t get us wrong, we absolutely love our clients and we are steadfastly committed to helping them grow and achieve their goals. That’s a key reason we are so successful. In fact, our vision is to be large enough to provide clients with expert advice and leading edge solutions and small enough to provide them with the highest degree of personalized attention and service.
To deliver on this promise, we only hire extremely talented and intelligent individuals who share our commitment to understanding and anticipating client needs. In return, we offer team members an extraordinarily flexible and collegial work environment along with impactful and meaningful work.
At MW&A, we believe it’s possible to maintain a challenging and meaningful career along with rich and vibrant lives outside of the office. We offer great career opportunities for CPAs who feel burned out by the relentless time and travel demands of larger firms or the challenge of being a working parent. In fact, both our Tax and Audit Practice Leaders joined MW&A as part-time CPAs when they were new parents.
Ensuring we have a collegial work environment is just as important to us as having the flexibility to achieve our professional and our personal goals. We think this sets us apart from other CPA firms. In fact, we expect all team members and candidates to embrace and demonstrate the following key attributes, which we call The MW&A Way:
- Be dedicated to providing personalized attention and service.
- Be a proactive and strategic solution provider.
- Be a relationship builder.
- Be a collaborative team player.
- Be trustworthy.
- Be kind.
Impactful and Meaningful Work
As a leading nonprofit audit firm in the Midwest, we partner with and support a wide range of nonprofit organizations. From corporate foundations including the Kraft-Heinz Co. Foundation and True Value Foundation to local charities such as Honor Flight of Chicago, Cancer Wellness Center, The Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance and Bernie’s Book Bank – our nonprofit clients are actively making the world a better place to live.
At MW&A, we also specialize in providing audit, accounting, tax and consulting services to entrepreneurs and small business owners. We take great pride in the fact that they trust us to serve as their strategic business partner and help them achieve their dreams and goals.
Commitment to Clients and Community
Our commitment to helping our clients succeed extends well beyond our accounting and consulting capabilities. On selected weekdays and weekends, you can find members of the MW&A team volunteering together to help our nonprofit clients and local charitable groups to make the world and community a better place to live.
